Permastop® Building Blanket is ideal for use under metal roofs to provide thermal and acoustic comfort and condensation control. Permastop® reduces the amount of heat entering your attic space working in tandem with ceiling insulation.

Permastop® Building Blanket is an insulation blanket that is fixed directly under the metal roof and is effective in reducing the noise levels entering your home from rain, hail, aircraft and other outside noises. 75mm Permastop® Building Blanket can reduce sound transmission through the roof by up to 18dB.

Permastop® Building Blanket is lightweight, flexible insulation blanket faced on one side with Sisalation® reflective foil laminate (Light, Medium or Heavy Duty.) This combination acts as an effective barrier against condensation forming on the underside of your metal roof. When warm, moist air is vented into the roof space from bathroom and kitchen fans and vented range hoods.

Polyair Performa 4.0

Polyair Performa 4.0 combines a 4mm thick inner core of fire retardant closed cell foam with two external layers of high performance reflective aluminium foils and a special external coating of gold coloured antiglare with reinforced netting.Super II incorporates a special low-E copper colour antiglare. It combines a unique double layered inner core of fire retardant polyethylene bubble film with a second low-E reflective aluminium foil layer.

Polyair Performa 7.0 combines a 7mm thick thermal break inner core of fire retardant closed cell foam with two external layers of high performance reflective aluminium foils. Kingspan Air-Cell Insulbreak® is a 3-in-1 insulation, vapour barrier and thermal break solution for steel-framed construction. In steel-framed buildings Kingspan Air-Cell Insulbreak® delivers the R0.20 thermal break required for BCA compliance*, reducing thermal bridging and conductivity between building elements. Kingspan Air-Cell Insulbreak® is also commonly used in non-steel framed applications such as timber framed roofs.

Kingspan Air-Cell Insulbreak® is manufactured with a cross-linked, closed-cell foam structure, and sandwiched by highly reflective foil surfaces.

Kingspan Air-Cell Permishield® is a vapour-permeable barrier and insulation wrapped up in a single product. Kingspan Air-Cell Permishield® is designed specifically for steel-framed wall applications for use behind lightweight cladding materials that require vapour permeance.


Manufactured with a patented closed-cell structure sandwiched by highly reflective foil surfaces and pierced with tiny, evenly-spaced breather holes, Kingspan Air-Cell Permishield® allows building professionals to do away with the traditional sarking-plus-batts combination in order to achieve thermal compliance as well as satisfy vapour permeance.
